Nick Pattilio

Nicholas Pattilio (he/him) is from Long Island, New York, and currently teaches choir in the Port Jefferson School District. He holds a B.M. in Music Education / Voice and a M.M. in Choral Conducting from the State University of New York at Fredonia. Additionally, he is certified to teach English Language Arts at the secondary level in New York. Nick has served as the assistant conductor to the nationally recognized Fredonia Chamber Choir, as well as a graduate teaching assistant in the choral area at SUNY Fredonia, instructing courses in undergraduate conducting and choral rehearsal methods. He has also served as a pianist, accompanying undergraduate voice students as well as the Fredonia Solo Vocal Summer Camp. Nick is an accomplished composer and arranger, having various compositions featured on major ensemble programs and the Student Composer Concert series at SUNY Fredonia. During his time in Western New York, he has performed with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra under JoAnn Falletta, the Westminster Choir of the Westminster Presbyterian Church – Buffalo and the Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus, of which he directed the small select group. Outside of music-making, Nick enjoys writing poetry, trying new spots to eat, or exploring New York City.
