Paul Ceglio
Paul Ceglio has been a private music lesson teacher in Nassau County, New York since 2009 and currently gives drum and piano lessons at The Music Academy Foundation in Garden City and New World Music Center in Baldwin. He holds an Associate Degree in Music from Nassau Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Merchandising from Hofstra University. Paul’s percussion experience includes playing for the pit orchestra in numerous high school and college musicals such as Guys and Dolls, Footloose, Beauty and the Beast, Spring Awakening, Bloody, Bloody, Andrew Jackson, and Carrie: The Musical. He has also performed in the percussion ensembles of Nassau Community College and Hofstra University, Hofstra’s Jazz Combos Program, and the Hofstra University Jazz Ensemble as the principal drummer. Paul’s choral experience includes singing in the Nassau Community College Chorus and Vocal Ensemble as well as the Hofstra University Chorale. In September of 2018, Paul returned to Hofstra University, to pursue his Master of Science degree in Music Education and graduated in December of 2019. Since then, he has taught General Music and Chorus in the public school districts of Seaford, Farmingdale, Copiague and Levittown.
