Joslyn Thomas

Joslyn Thomas is an Elementary Choral and General Music Teacher in the Hicksville Public Schools and the Social Media Manager for NY ACDA. She holds a BM in Music Education from Westminster Choir College and MM in Choral Conducting from the University of Washington. At Westminster she toured and recorded with the Westminster Kantorei (Dr. Amanda Quist), Westminster Symphonic Choir (Dr. Joe Miller) and the Williamson Voices (Dr. James Jordan). While in Seattle, Joslyn conducted the Seattle Children’s Chorus Brio choir and the University of Washington Treble Choir, and served as the Assistant Conductor of the University Chorale. She has studied conducting under Dr. James Jordan, Dr. Geoffrey Boers and Dr. Giselle Wyers. As a soprano, Joslyn sings in The Same Stream Choir and is thrilled to join the eVoco Voice Collective.
