eVoco is proud to present this opportunity for high school singers each year. This year, five to eight high school singers will be chosen to advance to the live component and asked to perform their solo on the eVoco Young Artists Competition Saturday, May 31st at 7:00pm in the Shapiro Family Hall recital space at Hofstra University. After the live performances, three high school singers will be chosen to receive scholarships to be used to further their musical pursuits, in the following categories:

Winners will also have their names featured on the eVoco website.

To be considered for this prize, you must be available to perform on Saturday, May 31st, 2025. A collaborative pianist will be provided for you, if needed.

 

Applications are open to students in grades 9-12; the fee is $25. To apply, simply fill out the form linked below. Your YouTube link should lead us to a video recording of your performance of a single song (art song, aria, musical theater piece, etc.) with piano accompaniment. Diverse styles of music are encouraged. Please keep video submissions under seven minutes. If you advance to the live round, you will be expected to perform the same piece you submitted in the video application.

 

Once you submit the form, you will be taken to our payment page where you may pay the $25 application fee either through PayPal or by Credit Card. You are confirmed as an applicant when both your application fee and electronic registration form have been received. The deadline for applications is Thursday, May 1st, 2025. Singers chosen to advance to the next round will be notified by May 15th, via personal email.
